GRAPHISOFT Australia has developed AUS WinDoorBuilder, a new Window and Door Tool, to complement and enhance the functionality of the standard ARCHICAD package through:
- Innovative & Flexible Modelling – users have the capacity, via an innovative modelling methodology in 2D and 3D views, to model any combination of horizontal and/or vertical panels and sash types within one object.
- Familiar User Interface – where possible, the user interface is identical or similar to the standard ARCHICAD interface, saving time from having to learn a complex new interface.
- Scheduling Capabilities – compatible with ARCHICAD’s Interactive Schedule, the new Window & Door Tool can be scheduled within the standard ARCHICAD package.
- Local Relevance – developed specifically for Australian Architects and Designers, the new Window & Door Tool includes sash types and panel options particularly relevant in an Australian context, complete with typically available design options.
GRAPHISOFT Australia has also created a dedicated Australian Essential Library, a collection of locally developed ARCHICAD objects available exclusively to ARCHICAD Select Subscribers.
These objects are designed to complement those included with the standard ARCHICAD Library. It includes a range of residential and commercial furniture, fixtures and equipment along with internal and external building components and structural elements. The Australian Essential Library also includes 2D symbol objects which graphically represent the way that many Australian Architects and Designers document their buildings and is therefore useful for a wide range of practices and projects, regardless of size.

The BIMobject® App for ARCHICAD
The BIMobject® App allows you, as an ARCHICAD user to browse and download manufacturer specific content from the BIMobject.com cloud directly into any ARCHICAD 15, 16 or 17 project..
The BIMobject® App is completely free of charge for all users of ARCHICAD worldwide, giving the ARCHICAD user a toolset to find, source, update and check BIM objects supplied through the http://info.bimobject.com/ cloud completely integrated in their software. The App has functions to quickly browse the BIMobject® cloud database online and filter real products from real manufacturers. A simple click to download and the BIM objects are loaded in the ARCHICAD user’s project, ready for placement and further configuration. The App has the ability to check for updates to ensure the actual version of the placed object in your project is the same version as on the cloud. If there is a newer version of the actual product in the cloud, the product information can automatically be transferred to the already downloaded files. The App also consists of a BIMail integration. ARCHICAD users now have the ability to send and receive BIMails directly from inside their BIM software. Manufacturers have the ability to use BIMail to inform users about product news and updates through BIMail inside the ARCHICAD system.
