The IFC-guide, International, version 3.0
IFC (Industry Foundation Classes) is a neutral and open file format that enables information exchange between different CAD applications and other software within the in construction and management areas. The IFC format is ISO-certified and can be integrated into the quality assurance system that your office has chosen. IFC is developed by IAI – International Alliance for Interoperability, which today has more than 600 member companies around the world.
This guide provides insight into the IFC standard and explains the work process in ArchiCAD. IFC version of ArchiCAD 18 is IFC 2×3, Coordinate View version 2.0 (IFC2x3 CV 2.0).
