MEP Workflows was last modified: January 11th, 2016 by DevSA
Thanks to recent technological developments, professionals in building design and development increasingly rely on integrated architectural and engineering workflows. Using the IFC standard as a common language, architects and HVAC engineers can share and coordinate their projects, using the work of other disciplines as a reference.
DDS-CAD MEP is an advanced BIM tool for the design and documentation of electrical, HVAC and plumbing systems for buildings. It is a stand-alone system; you can work with DDS-CAD MEP on its own, creating building models directly in the software, or work with 2D floor plans or 3D models imported from your architect or building designer. The software supports 2D floor plan import in DWG or DXF format, and also is certified for import and export of buildingSMART/IFC data.
